We've eaten here a lot over the last 5 years. We never look at the menu because we know Panikos will serve us the best he has. He'll suggest something and we just go with what he suggests because he is extremely proud of his food so we know it will be good. If we call in for a drink and ask when he'll be doing a barbeque, he'll usually do it for the next night. His barbeque is an amazing mix of chicken and pork and is almost as good as his suckling pig, which is probably the best meal I've ever had. The place is a proper Cypriot Greek restaurant and there aren't that many left. No fancy frills, just brilliant food served by a friendly family. We've been here 3 times in 14 nights. I would give the place a 6 if I could.
Tried with our family different restaurants in Paphos, this one is the best one. Fresh, not frozen products, tasty sauces and very good service. Try fish and meat here. Hope to visit it again, if we come to Paphos next time.
What a real authentic place to eat in Paphos. Great service, heart warming food and a nice atmosphere. The menu is fabulous and is made clearly from fresh produce. The owner (Panikos) will even vouch for that and may even take you for a visit to the kitchen to see for yourself.
Having lived in Cyprus for nearly two years now we have finally found somewhere that serves traditional good quality Cypriot cuisine. Panikos is a great chef and host and his wife make the most delicious cakes. You will find it on tomb of the kings road 400 metres from Kings mall towards coral bay. Give it a try you will not be disappointed. The Suckling pig is the best I've had both uk and Cyprus. We will certainly be back.
I first visited this traditional family restaurant that I had heard so much praise for earlier this year and I was amazed by the food and dazzled by the owner, his family and the staff all of whom were magnificent. The atmosphere is warm, cosy and informal, my children loved it and we went back four times. I just ask Panicos what he recommends and go with whatever he suggests and I'm delighted every time. Can't wait to go back again soon for more of the fabulous slow spit roasted chicken. It's a flippin' delight!
We just returned from our first visit to Cyprus last night. Having planned this trip last minute I didn't have too high expectations of what to expect.
This was my first time in Paphos. We were situated close to the Tomb Of The Kings Road and quickly came across Piatsa Greka Taverna. We skimmed the menu and was approached by the owner who didn't give us any hard sell. He made it clear his food was fresh and not frozen. We initially were looking around and didn't want to eat at that time so we continued on our exploration of the area. It was clear that the Piatsa Greka seemed to be somewhere worth a try. I'm so glad we did as I can honestly say that the food did not disappoint us on the numerous times we visited. The owner, Panicos, and his staff were friendly. Service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Anyone visiting Paphos should definitely try food at Piatsa Greka as they won't be disappointed and will leave very satisfied.
Amazing steaks and 'roast' potatoes as well as delicious traditional Cypriot dishes. Very reasonably priced. You must visit!
A group of 7 of us popped in for a drink and light lunch(!) earlier this week but left with bellies stuffed full of amazing food! The host was so friendly and suggested we try his traditional meat meze as it was the best value for money and a great way to sample the traditional Cypriot dishes. He continued to feed us course after course of salads, pittas, dips, traditional sausage, lamb and other meats all cooked differently and each cooked extremely well.
Authentic, traditional home cooked Cypriot cuisine & warm welcome from lovely owner/staff. Good was superb especially the pig suckling and lamb kleftiko. A must visit!
We have visited this restaurant several times now and it continues to impress. It is run by a friendly family for whom nothing is too much trouble, and everything is freshly cooked on the premises.
A Village Salad and fresh Sea Bass on our first visit - some of the best we have had.

We stopped here quite randomly but really enjoyed the food. We had a lamb kleftico which was very tender and prawns in a feta sauce which I've never had before but really enjoyed! The side veg were a bit overcooked for my taste, but it's difficult to please everyone! Service was very friendly.
My partner and I had a delicious meal here. My partner is a vegetarian and was well accommodated for. I had the Stifado which was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Panikos is a very passionate person about food and he knows his stuff.
It is a long established family restaurant which has been running for over 20 years in a great location.
I highly recommend this place and I encourage you to go and try it for yourself.

We always like to eat and experience the local cuisine where ever we travel and this restaurant certainly was one to remember. So much so that we returned here a few times throughout the week trying out a few different things on the menu. Food was always great as well as the hospitality.
Certainly our favourite out of the half dozen places we ate this week.
Thanks!

Anyone visiting Cyprus should sample the Meze, and if you're in the Paphos ares you won't get a better one than this!
Although situated on the popular "Tombs of the Kings" road, the prices are very reasonable also.
Seriously - not to be missed!

A light chicken dish specially prepared by the owner before our flight home - very special.
We feel that we made a real friend - the owner gave us helpful advice and looked after us well - above and beyond what is expected, no pressure and no "dressing up" the menu - any question was answered openly.
